El producto se ve muy resistente lo malo es que a veces su llave se queda trabada en el candado y cuesta para sacarla. Pero no es todo el tiempo

I bought this product for my truck. It is the worst thing I ever purchase. It does not came with any instruction at all. It is pain in the ass to bend down and adjust with brake, then lock it. Again to unlock, it just another pain. Does not work at all. After using a week, the lock jams. Lock keeps jamming. I was about to call lock-smith, I keep trying for about 6 minutes, finally I used the pliers to turn hard the key, then it opens. That’s it, never ever buying this again.
My RECOMMENDATION is DO NOT BUY this or you will regret it – thanks

I have had three cars since I have bought this, and only with my second car, a 2013 Toyota Prius C, did I have issues getting the device around the pedal of my car. It is perfect if you have a manual car because it goes right around the clutch, and it works very well on my 2013 Honda Civic around the brake pedal.
It comes as two pieces, along with two keys (maybe three? I know two for sure.) I love it for how subtle and secure it is. It feels like real steel, as in it won’t be broken easily. I like to think that in an emergency where I need to break a window, I could use it to easily break the window. All you do is slide the long piece over one of your pedals, and once its secure on it, you put the second piece on the jack, but right below the pedal. Then you use the key to lock it into place. I have never used a steering wheel jack but they always look so bulky and weird, so I’m happy to have an extra piece of security that is also subtle. Hardest part is usually reaching down to place it, but once you get used to the placement it becomes routine.

If you’re going to buy this style lock this is the one to get. Very heavy duty (thick steel) It’s a little longer than most and has and additional set of holes giving it more range. It fits Ford truck brake pedal. The downside would be if you’re going to be using this daily. You have to do some gymnastics to get it off and on, you’ll be half in and half out of your car while unlocking it. Best for long term stored cars. The lock comes with 3 keys (nice to have 2 extras) with a unique pattern so it won’t be easily picked.

This Is A Very Handy Item. It Works Well For My Application……

The machining isn’t amazing for the keyhole or the locking pin. But it’s cheap and works great for stopping anyone from easily pushing the pedal down. Imagine having 2 or 3 of these while an alarm is going off and your thief probably wont wanna stick around.
Fits 2001 dodge ram and would probably fit most cars as it’s pretty thick. Make sure to find the right adjustment so that no matter where the thief might move the lock they still won’t be able to push pedal in.

Just got this in the mail today. Product works, though the pins inside the lock rotate around while you’re driving with it sitting in your car, so I’d recommend leaving the key inside it while driving around with this in your vehicle. I have a Honda that is low to the ground, so it is very awkward getting it on and off, as I have to squat down outside of the car with the door wide open, to get it on. Would be difficult to do if someone is parked close to you on the driver side. Make sure to put it on with the keyhole side facing the driver’s door, so you can see what you’re doing, or else it will be a huge pain to try to unlock it in the dark if you can’t see where to insert the key. One day of using it and I’m already annoyed by it, so I’m purchasing a wheel clamp lock to use daily ($25 here on Amazon), as that will be much easier to get on and off quickly, and very visible to would-be thieves, so more of a deterrent than this, where nobody would see it until they’re already in your car and have possibly messed up your ignition to start the car. I’ll still use this product anytime I’m away from my home, but it seems like a big hassle to get on and off every time I go out running errands. Before buying this, go out to your car and just see how easily you can get to your pedals, as it may be very easy with a car that is higher off the ground than mine.

This device works!
The comment from the person who wrote that it does not work has not figured out how to use it.
Initially I was going to return the device because I could not unlock the device. I sat in my vehicle on two different occassions trying to get it unlocked. I was almost late for work both times.
I finally figured it out. You have to relieve all the pedal pressure from resting on the device to allow the locking pin to move freely.
I use the device on the accelerator. To unlock, lift up on the gas pedal to relieve all the pressure from the device to allow the locking pin to be slide away and unlocked very easily, each and every time.
The instructions do not state this very clearly but after figuring it out I’ve decided to keep the device.
Works very well!
