I’ve tried several phone holders prior to this one. This hasn’t moved since I installed it in the car. Super easy to operate and bonus, it is a wireless charger too! I have found it can get hot on the dash and as a result, the phone will recognize that and stop charging. We loved it so much, my wife ended up getting one for her car as well.
I have had this for several months now and have not had any issues with it. Solid craftsmanship, unlike a lot of the other options out there. Actually is made of metal and not some cheap plastic. Great value for the price!

10 month Update:
This is still, by far, my favorite in the car phone holder/charger. The sleek styling is ahead of its time. The open and auto close still works flawlessly. The led colors are crisp and classy. If only there were an updated 25w version to keep up with current phones. Still the best on Amazon in my opinion and I’ve tried at least a dozen. I did mix it up with an elegant chrome trimmed base from another holder for a truly premium presentation.

Ordered during lunch and was at the front door when I got home from work. Incredible! This is a very nice mount with sleek styling and the automated functions are really cool. It doesn’t feel rugged but I’ll enjoy it while it lasts. Fits my Note 10+ and iPhone in an otterbox just fine.

So good I bought another one 3 years later. To be clear the one I bought 3 years ago still works with 0 issue. Charges fast, holds iPhone with OTTER box SLIM. It’s built strong I have the arm near fully extended and it does not sway bounce vibrate or anything. Definitely worth the money! Just had to buy a second for my new work truck 🤪

I have one of those USB testers and the most power I can get out of this charger is about 5W. I have tried multiple power adapters, cables, and have tested it on both a Google Pixel 7 Pro and Iphone 14 and the best I could get is 5W (4.8 actually) of charging. Also I initially planned on using this on my windshield, but it comes with a sticky pad and not a traditional suction cup so it doesn’t seem like it would work very well to attach to a window. I was hoping it would be something I could move between cars, but with the big sticky pad I don’t think that would be ideal. Overall I think it is a great charger. It holds my phone well. One complaint I have is that when the phone is in the holder you can’t access the volume buttons well. This is a problem sometimes when the volume on your phone is turned down and you are bluetooth to your device. Overall it isn’t a big deal, but something to be aware of. It does appear to work in both landscape and portrait orientations, but it is definitely more user friendly in the portrait orientation. One thing I do is put the phone in in portrait and then rotate the holder to landscape. My only real concern is the slow charging. When using google maps for navigation on the charger my phone battery basically just holds steady. It is just enough juice to power the phone. I have done a number of 1+ hour drives and at the end of the drive I am basically at the same battery voltage as when I left. Sometimes even lower if I have to remove my phone from the holder for any reason. On my last trip I ended up plugging the cord into the phone because the wireless just isn’t very good. I am on the fence buying another one of these for my other car or trying a different brand. The charger is high quality, it just doesn’t charge very fast.

It does not charge my OtterBox defender II, however it works with my girlfriends smaller otterbox case! It still holds my phone nice and steady which is why I really bought this model! Looks incredible still, and functions just as well as it did day 1! Only complaint is the one I listed, but that’s more of an issue with having a bigger phone case! 5/5
