It works great. Depending upon the surface that you put it on, you may not be able to get used to the sound it makes when it has to suction. The magnet was great maybe a little too great. I found myself pulling it off of the suction area a couple times. It was a great value for the money and held my phone.

Is OK, holding the phone, but after while it fall by it self all the time, if you get out of your car for awhile you will find it on the floor, it loose succion…. Now a need to put it down when I get of the car, other wise it will be on the flor…

Does it work? Yes, it does have strong suction and holds very well. Allen wrench is provided for additional tightening/positioning if needed depending on the weight of your phone. The rechargeable suction control/auto adjusting is not my favorite, though. I know this is what makes it have strong suction, but the sound it makes is very similar to a loud automatic pencil sharpener. When this automatically goes off to increase the suction it is startling and I don’t care for how often it adjusts for temp or pressure changes. Only use when needed, I personally don’t recommend if you’re easily annoyed by automatic pencil sharpeners.

Works ok. I didn’t realize that the act of placing it is what triggers the vacuum. The button is what releases it.
On truly flat surfaces, it seems to work well. Filing cabinet, white board, etc. My desk surface at my office is only MOSTLY flat (as Miracle Max might say) – there’s enough texture/grooving that the suction will not hold at all.
My desk at home, the surface was flat enough to hold, the problem was the desk itself – the surface was not bonded enough with the substrate (probably particle board cuz it’s a cheap desk). So the entire device would start tilting while staying attached and lifting the desk surface with it.
So far I’ve tried a handful of different surfaces, and if it’s going to stay or not I know right away. A couple of times I hung a weight on it and left it sitting for a couple hours. Both times there was no movement.
The only reason I’m taking off a star is because of the arm/joint movement. It’s too stiff. Yes, it needs to be stiff enough to hold in place, but every joint, every point of movement, is too stiff, making it hard to adjust to a perfect position.
