Nice little device. It has a turn to lock in the suction for the hold. It does not stick to a uneven or rippled surface it has to be flat and smooth. So the kit does come with an extra magnet for the back of your phone and a round plastic piece to stick to the surface you want to put it on to create a smooth surface. My car’s dash is textured and it would not stick. But after the little plastic disc is used I had not trouble. The hold with the magnet is strong, I placed it on a wall and then stuck my phone on it and it held without issue.

I wanted a place to put my phone while driving, but have no interest in a vent mount and no good places to set the phone in my vehicle. I have been using a magnetic wireless charger for keeping the phone charged while traveling. My vehicle has a small flat smooth shelf in front of the gauges above the steering column. This little thing fit perfectly on that shelf and holds the phone to the side of the speedometer. And that’s a great place for maps too. But wait… with this on the phone magnetically, how do I keep the phone charged if it’s on there showing maps and streaming music?! Well this thing comes with a couple metal rings with adhesive for phones that don’t have the magnetic back. It was tough getting the paper backing off the adhesive side of the ring, but I finally got it off and stuck it on the back of my charger. The mount’s magnet holds the charger in place better than the charger holds the phone so I can get the phone off without messing with this setup, but they both hold well enough that it all stays in place while driving.
I really like the size and quality of this mount, but best of all is how well it satisfies my need in a perfect manner.

I’ve gone through my fair share of car phone mounts, but this one blows most of them out of the water. The suction power is no joke—once it’s locked in, it stays put. Even on rough roads, sharp turns, or sudden stops, it doesn’t budge. I was especially impressed that it held up during a warm day and still gripped like a champ! To be fair, it has not been over 80 degrees here yet this year, but Im still pretty impressed.
The magnetic hold is incredibly strong and super convenient for my phone. It snaps on instantly and hasn’t slipped once, even with a slim case on. I love that it comes with a magnetic ring too, so I was able to set up my partner’s Android just as easily.
The adjustable arm and full 360° rotation give me tons of flexibility to get the perfect viewing angle without blocking my view. And when I don’t need it, it folds away neatly—zero clutter.

This is a pretty solid suction mount. It works with my iPhone 15. It sticks to the windshield in my car pretty well, and the magnet is strong enough to hold my iphone even with the case on (mag-safe compatible case of course). If the surface where you are sticking it to isn’t smooth, like a car dashboard, you won’t get enough suction. So you might want to look at getting one of those adhesive base plates that you can stick to any surface and then you have a spot where the suction cup will work. The hinges on this thing are pretty strong so when I put the iphone in a particular position, it stays there. That also means it can be kind of difficult to open & get it into the right position, but you want that. I gave 4 stars because while the listing indicates that this would be made entirely of metal, only the ring and arm are. The rest of it is plastic, which I suppose helps keep the weight down, but means it might not last as long.

The magnet on this mount is strong enough to hold a phone in place without worrying if it will fall down.
However, the suction cup mounting end of this stand just isn’t that useful in a vehicle interior. There isn’t anywhere on most dashboards, center consoles, doors, or armrest areas that is both flat enough and smooth enough to hold it in place.

This Vacuum Chuck Phone Holder works well with my phone. I mounted it to my windshield since my dashboard is textured (it recommends a completely flat surface for it to stick). If you tug on it after sticking it, it will come off, but it held securely with the weight of my phone. I went over railroad tracks and some bumpy roads and it held firm. I ordered the gray color, and I like how it just sort of blends in with my car interior and does not stick out like a sore thumb. I have a magnetic case on my phone, but if you do not, it comes with the rings that you can add to make it more secure. This holder performs as it should, so I would recommend it.

i think the concept is good, but unfortunately for me, it doesn’t meet my needs. I was looking for a stand for my desk (made out of wood). Unfortunately, the suction does not hold up too well on wooden desk. However, it does do well on a metal cabinet. I’m sure even better on glass. The quality of the magnet is good, the phone held on pretty well. The quality of the material the base is made out of doesn’t feel like quality material, more like cheaper plastic. Overall, if i was looking for a mount for a glass top desk, or a metal desk, this could work, but most of my desks at work/home are made of wood, and it doesn’t hold up too well on that material.
