The instructions for the remote kill switch are not the greatest instructions in the world, and after reading through them two or three times I finally got the gist of what they were trying to say. I went out there and tried to install the kill switch, there were NO problems installing it whatsoever. I had all of the parts I needed, and actually had parts left over because they were not needed, the company that makes this switch just provided them to make certain installation wouldn’t be problematic. Programming the remote fob to the kill switch was super easy as well. The range on the remote control is approximately 130′ to 160′ ft from your vehicle depending on whether you’re inside outside or things like that. I’m very happy with my purchase. It also provides me with peace of mind knowing that some thief can’t just take off with my vehicle in the middle of the night like a couple of weeks ago! So, thanks very much for providing me with some peace of mind. The product is awesome! If I didn’t mention it before the price you pay is well worth it.

My 2019 GMC Terrain needs to have the battery disconnected when I am towing it behind my Class A motorhome on a tow dolly. I didn’t want to go through the hassle of doing this manually, so I took a chance on this device. The installation could not have been any easier using the information provided in the instructions – it took less than 5 minutes to install and test the system. Just press the “OFF” button on one of the two remote controls provided and the battery is disconnected. Press the “ON” button on the remote control and the battery is once again connected. Very pleased with this product!

I bought this a month ago yesterday so it’s no longer able to be returned. It lasted about a week and is on a vehicle not driven daily so I didn’t realize until it was too late.
After said week it went from working perfectly to shutting off the battery at the turn of the key. Good thing I was at home and had tools on hand…
