One tip do not completely remove the clips on the old ones, just slide them out a little with a flat head screwdriver and they come right off. No need to do anything to the new ones, the just pop right on! Works great

Easy installation, fits perfectly, but, after about 6 months, it was really slow at about the last 10 inches to open. Now in cold weather, I have to push it up for the last 10 or so inches.

I shopped for liftgate struts at the major auto part retailers – $64.95 per strut. Tuff Support was $35 for a PAIR. Seemed to good to be true but the reviews from other purchasers were great, so I ordered them. Couldn’t be happier – they fit my car perfectly and work well. Instructions were printed on the back of the package, but I watched a YouTube video to get more clear and useful demo of installation; easier than installing windshield wiper blades.

My hatch no longer fully stayed open and I was tired of hitting my head. These took 5 minutes to install and fit perfect. Only word of caution is for the first few weeks the hitch opens VERY FAST. Stand clear until the supports loosen up a bit.
Can’t believe I waited so long to buy a replacement set of these.

Very easy installation. The only tool required was a flat head screwdriver. You pull out the retaining clips on the old shocks. You do not need to remove the retaining clips fully. Then pop them out of the ball joint.
Take a look at the new shocks first and you will understand the retaining mechanism.
To install the new ones. Just push them in with a little force. I initially tried to pull the clips out a bit. This was unnecessary.
Watch a couple videos on the tubes, and any human can change these. Your cat could do it.
I suggest a helper to assist in holding up the hatch. Or supporting the hatch with a broom stick or some long handled tool you have around the house.
The new shocks seem strong and lift the hatch with no assistance.
Time will tell if they are durable. I cannot speak to that.
