I spent a lot of time on Amazon, and this Magsafe magnetic phone holder did not let me down! Its ingenious shape allows the vents to remain unobstructed and makes attaching it to the vent slats a snap
This product works perfectly with the Magsafe technology, simply align the holder with the back of my daughter’s iPhone 13 pro and they automatically attach together. This magnetic attachment is so strong that the phone stays firmly in the holder and won’t come loose or fall out. Although not having Magsafe, my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra phone works wonderfully with it when I use the metal ring that the seller provided. I’m pleased by its smooth compatibility. To put it briefly, you must attach the metal ring first if your phone or case does not have the Magsafe technology.
It is quite stable. Even on choppy roads, it maintains the phone steady. I feel so much more at ease knowing that I don’t have to worry about my phone slipping or trembling while I’m driving. Additionally, it rotates 360 degrees, allowing me to freely change the phone’s angle and position as needed. Using this for video calls or navigation is incredibly convenient. To make sure I can use my phone’s capabilities comfortably, I can quickly and easily adjust it to the ideal viewing angle.

Easy to install and stays nice and firm.
Magnet is strong enough to hold the phone with a MagSafe case even off-road. No need for the extra rings of you have a MagSafe case but good for those that don’t.
Very happy with the product and it keeps the phone far enough away from the vent to still allow good air flow.
The he cable holder is also a nice touch.

I only write reviews for things that are actually great. I’ve had Prime since 2010 or so and I’ve left maybe 5 reviews.
Over the years, I’ve tried countless cheap car phone mounts. They get loose easily, or my phone slips out of them. I usually have to make adjustments just on my daily commute, but the HTU Magsafe Magnetic Vent Car Mount lasted for an entire cross country drive (2,100 miles from Atlanta to Los Angeles) without falling or slipping even once.
I really can’t stress how frustrating my old vent mount was, so you can see why I’m taking my time on this review.

It’s definitely built for long-term reliability. I’ve got tons of confidence that this one will last for years.

All in all, the Magsafe Car Mount proved to be a fantastic product on my cross-country trip. I can be a “quality snob” and this thing is one of those few things that absolutely nails it and sticks the landing in all categories. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, aka the biggest, heaviest one out there, and it’s stable. It’s so stable that I took time out of my day to write this review because finding quality stuff is so hard in the sea of Amazon trash. This is one of the legit gems.
Being this impressed with a Phone Mount may seem odd, but I really can’t express how much of a difference the little quality of life improvements make. I drive a LOT, and there were no slips, no drops, and no accidental button presses when using the mount (unlike those “squeeze” ones).

This is my first time using the Magsafe magnetic car phone handset and overall it’s great.
Pros.
– The magnets are strong enough to hold large phones, I has an iPhone 12 which has Magsafe technology, so if I don’t have a case with me, I just need to point this phone holder at the back of my phone and it holds my phone firmly in place. FYI, there is also a locator card inside the package, so if you are worried about misalignment, you can install it with its instructions for mounting.
But when my phone comes with a case, I need to install a magnetic metal ring on the back of the case first. This serves to increase the magnetic force
– Even on bumpy roads, it holds my phone securely with little to no wobble, which gives me a safe ride!
– So far, this hook works for both styles of vents (vertical, horizontal) I haven’t tried the round one, but it doesn’t seem to be compatible according to the seller’s tip.
– Durable (I’ve installed and removed it over a dozen times so far)
