Front passenger side on my 05 Titan was rusted beyond belief. Getting the old one out sucked, but this one, went in like a dream. It looked and felt nicer than the OEM one, so in the 4 months I’ve had it, can’t complain, Timken makes a good product!

Certainly more expensive than other, but I don’t want to ever do this again and I think you get what you pay for. 2000mi and counting and everything feels great. Quality product, from a brand I know well.
2006 QX56 4WD. Install wasn’t hard persay, but it certainly takes some time. If you do not have an air-hammer or some other form of non-hand hammer extraction method RENT A PULLER or SLIDE HAMMER from your auto parts store, seriously, do it. Past getting them out of the spindle install is the reverse. If you have GOOD thin walled sockets that could help as without fully removing the spindle/ axle shafts (not worth it) there was always an angle on the sockets you had to be mindful of.

Item was a perfect fit for my 06 Titan 4×4. Took me about 3 hours to do both sides. Only need to remove the caliper (support it so it’s not hanging) loosen axle nut and push in you should have clearance to access the 3 bolts holding the hub assembly on. Theses are lock tite from the factory so a breaker bar is a must. Disconect abs wire and using a hammer knock out the old hub hitting it from behind at different sides, may take a while but will come out.
Make sure to use a wire brush to clean around where it sits so the new one slides on easily. Put the new one on in reverse order and you can apply some new locktite on the bolts of your preference.

The quality seems to be good, and the part fit without problem on my ’07 Titan. Getting the old hub off was a major pain. I ended up taking the whole steering knuckle off (main verical member which holds this hub, but really doesn’t resemble a “knuckle” in my opinion). Then I hammered the old hub out from the backside with a small sledge. Once it was out, everything cleaned up easily with a wire brush wheel. This new hub slipped right in. It wasn’t a tight fit at all. I recommend putting the knucle back on the vehicle, and then installing this hub. There has been no indication that there is any problem with the ABS system, so apparently the vehicle likes what it sees on the sensor in this new hub.

Replace the two front bearings on our Titan with these. It’s quiet again and only the tire hum is now audible. They’ve been on for 5 months now and are still solid after a few road trips and snow driving. My shop said these are what they use as well and seem to be solid. The originals lasted 9 years and hope to get that many out of these.

Super disappointed with this. I bought one and it lasted about 2 months before it was making noises again. So I bought another one thinking maybe it was a fluke, and within 2 weeks the hearing was loose and noisier than the one I had replaced.

I do most of my own light mechanical on the farm and purchased the back in August 2016. This is my wifes truck which gets under 7.5k miles per year and today, almost 3 years to the date, the same hub gave out and started making that terrible noise anyone on this thread is familiar with. Some would say, wow 3 years that’s not bad. My brakes last longer than that and a **** of a lot easier to change…just perspective. Three stars cuz’ it did fit and got “some” use out of it.
