In the following review, which is very negative, I said I doubted that I would receive a refund but want it known I did receive a full refund shortly after I wrote the review. The seller asked for some details about my experience with their product and then immediately issued a refund even before I returned the faulty resistor. So, they went above and beyond to make things right. I gave the product a 5 star review originally, then a one star after the resistor failed, now I given them a 3 star because they earned at least that in my way of thinking. Here is the original review:
I gave this product(blower and resistor)a glowing 5 star review a couple weeks ago because everything was working great. Now, unbelievably, the blower motor would not stop, even with the car’s ignition turned off! So, disappointed. I spent many hours on youtube.com finding the reason for this and more hours uninstalling their blower/resistor and re-installing the original resistor. It worked okay for 2 or 3 weeks and then we found out their blower kept running after car was turned off. Spent many more hours researching why? Turns out their,”resistor”, also known as the regulator or FSU, final control unit, is defective. I spent 3 hours removing all the parts on my 2014 BMW 650i necessary to remove the ,”resistor” and reinstall the old resistor. Then everything in the car’s HVAC system worked fine and we no longer have a run-a-way blower. The reason for doing this at all was to fix the howling noise the HVAC system was making. Turns out I should have just cleaned out any debris in the system, install new cabin filters, replace the filter housing over the blower and not replace the blower and resistor with the so-called, “Premium ” brand parts. Must say their blower works okay so far but their resistor is totally defective. My rationale for replacing the OEM blower and resistor was why not on a 10 year old car especially after spending hours digging down several layers to reach the blower. It was full of leaves and crap and but when cleaned, little did I know it still worked fine, so did the resistor but thinking I should put new parts in there i did with these, “Premium ” brand parts. Big mistake, as it turns out. I realize there is a chance that this is a rare occurrence with their parts but it happened to me and I am very unhappy that I got screwed by their defective resistor. I pray their blower motor is not defective. I am attempting to get a refund for the defective resistor but I doubt they will honor my request because I am not returning their blower. Removing that would have required a couple more hours of my time and I am just not up to it.
