Excellent quality, comes with all hardware and grease
Break in instructions included
Just read what vehicles it fits. This kit is for XLE
I see a lot of comments it is wrong
I have an XLE and it was a perfect fit
XLE has bigger rotors on front than le so that’s the difference.
Nice upgrade from oem brakes.
Don’t hesitate to buy
Took 4 hours to install.

This product was marked by Amazon as fitting a 2017 Rav4. The rear pads and rotors are an exact replacement. I started at the back and installed them. Unfortunately, there is a little “i” on the “ConfirmedFit” flag, which if you click says “Models with 296mm front rotors” (see first photo vs actual rotors in second photo). You have to know to click that “i” to discover this.
Normally I’d say my bad, except it if you look at the pads supplied they are about half the size of the ones off the vehicle (third photo, original pad on the left) so even if I had 296mm front rotors, the kit was wrong. I don’t know what vehicle the pads are for but they are clearly not for a vehicle the size of a Rav4.
I contacted Amazon to see if I could at least keep the back rotors and return the front kit but they could not do that so I had to undo the rear brake job and pack up the parts and send them back to Amazon.
The product itself seems to be of good quality but they obviously supplied the wrong parts (at minimum the pads).

My husband replaced my factory brakes and rotors with these. He done a lot of research before half and watched youtube videos about what to do and not to do. He grinned off corrosion and buildup before putting these on. You have to break in the brakes after installation. And they give you instructions on this. We done this and the brakes are great. I’ll never buy another kind again.

I’ve seen a few reviews stating that the rotor is too thick and the calipers with the new pads won’t fit. The hardest part of this job for me was getting the calipers with the new pads to fit over the new rotor, but it does fit. First make sure the piston on the caliper is fully seated back into the housing, i just used the old pads with a C-clamp to push the piston back, second, make sure the pads are correctly positioned and seated as far apart as possible. Third, i found it easier to place the caliper on starting from the top where the pads have a slope and the ease the rest of the caliper into place. I did this job yesterday on my wife’s 2010 Rav4 V6 on all 4 wheels and it took about 5 hours. Overall very good quality brakes. I would highly recommend buying some penetrating fluid, brake parts cleaner and some brake parts lubricant because they don’t give you enough in the box.

Installed in my Toyota Rav4 2016 XLE. It has the 296 front rotors and the brake pads fit. The rear and the brake pads fit as well. They included only one lube packet in the front but two in the back. It was enough for the back but not the front. They probably forgot to include an extra one up front. Its enough lube with 2 packets per axle but with one it was harder. I had already purchased more lube on the side. The brakes are quiet, and stop a little better than my oem. I did everything according to the package break in and it was good to go after that.

Rear parts fit. Sent back the front parts. The sellers should be serious on parts compatibility, otherwise waste a lot of time and efforts.

Totally worn-out and they rusted faster than any other brakes that I’ve owned.. 30 years + owning vehicles. Stay away from this product!

I wanted to install a higher quality set of rotors and disks because Consumer Reports indicated that my RAV4 had known brake issues. So I upgraded to this product for 4 wheels. My Toyota dealer quoted $1000 to do the job using OEM quality parts. These parts are higher quality and I did the installation myself, saving $700. So far, these parts are working as expected.

Installed these on my 2010 Toyota RAV4 to replace the old brakes. These were pretty easy to install and greatly improved stopping distance. They also look amazing on the car.
Pros:
-Great price
-Good performance
-All hardware included
-Looks amazing
Cons:
-The brake lube was barely enough, highly recommend getting some more from an auto parts store
Other thoughts:
I have only had these brakes installed for about a month now. My RAV4 had the original rotors from factory when i got it and were in pretty bad shape, a hammer is recommended for removal of old rotors. While they provided all the hardware and brake lube, I would recommend getting some more as well as having some brake clean handy.
