So I used it to charge my iPhone and sometime my Android as well. I had no problem with my Android most of the time maybe cause I did not use that much. For my iPhone, it worked but sometime I had to disconnect then reconnect again to charge. not sure why

This reasonably priced charger, works well. I was pleasantly surprised that my phone actually charges superfast with the attached cord. It is nice that the cord won’t get accidentally pulled out or fall out, too. And then there is a USB-A port if I need a second charger. I like the small size of this unit as well.

This USB charger works great for both USB-A and USB-C devices. The built-in USB-C cable instantly began “super-fast-charging” my Galaxy Z Flip6. (My previous charger only “fast-charged” the phone.) The USB-A port will probably rarely get used, but it’s a nice-to-have if you need to charge a second device simultaneously. I have no complaints at all about the operation or quality of the charger.
The only things I don’t love about the charger are:
– The charger protrudes from the lighter socket about 50% further than my previous charger, so it’s much more noticeable; maybe that’s because it provides more power, so that issue gets a free pass. However, the fact that the USB-C cable is permanently connected to the charger is a double-edged sword: on the one hand, you’ll never lose the cable, but on the other hand, the base of the cable (where it attaches to the charger) makes the already-conspicuous charger protrude even further from the lighter socket.
– There are two blue lights on the face of the charger: (1) a large circular light ring around the entire face of the charger and (2) a small rectangular light outlining the USB-A port. Those blue lights are on *all the time* and I find them somewhat distracting, particularly at night. The product description says the blue indicator “helps to pull and plug USB cable and pull out this car adapter from car charger at night;” yes, the small rectangular light is helpful for plugging in a USB-A cable, but seriously, how often have you needed to pull out the entire adaptor at night while driving? (I never have.) If they had outlined only the USB-A port (and not added the giant blue ring around the entire front of the charger), that would have been very useful while being much less distracting. To me, the big blue light ring is just a cool-looking solution in search of a problem. Sometimes, less really is more.
The price ($8.99 at time of order) seems very reasonable for a dual charger that provides plenty of power.
