A tip for those doing to work yourself: the wiper motor might not work while the hatch is open. So make sure the door is closed before you think there’s still a problem.

The ACDelco motor was an exact fit for the 2008 Chevy Equinox. No issues installing this as a replacement for the factory motor. Saved about $50 ordering this online vs. buying through O’Reilly or Autozone.

The fit was perfect! The description could have a been a bit better though. This is only the motor and the controller, mine didn’t come with the mounting bolts, the wiper arm, or any other hardware.

Not a quality replacement. Must be configured to fit the specific model you want to install it in. Does it work? Yes. Was it worth the price charged? No. It requires rewiring to work properly, and the frame assembly was poorly stamped which made tedious hand fitting necessary. Calling this a Genuine GM Replacement is seriously misleading.

Fit my 08 Chevy Equinox perfect. There is a little slider on the one end to adjust for one of the screw fits. Cheapest ACDelco replacement I could find and no core charge. Can’t beat it. Hardest part was getting the wiper arm off.

This is a AC Delco replacement. It is a different # than the original one that was pulled out. But this is the new version/model # that they produce. The circuit board is not attached as it has two possible mounting spots depending on the model of the vehicle. Three me off for a moment so thought I’d mention it here. Was $100 + cheaper than the dealer so definitely recommended.

Easy install. Fit perfect and works great. The price was right also. I have replaced my wiper motor twice before. Usually (when it is ready to fail) it starts getting stuck and I have to get out and push on the wiper to get it going again. This time when I replaced the old unit I noticed that where the wiper shaft attaches to the nut that the crevice hole area was filled with crud (due to salt and sand in my area). Now I a thinking that perhaps the old motor may not have been bad – that it may have just been jammed up by the crud. I cleaned out the area very well this time and hopefully this one will last. One other notation: The door has to be closed for the unit to operate. If you turn the wiper on you will get 12 Volts going to the unit with the door open, but after you plug it in, if the door is open it will not run.

This fits nicely in a two thousand seven Pontiac Torrent. Comes with replacement bolts which are really nice. There are also multiple mounting locations for the controller box which is nice. The motor works but does seem a little weaker then what it replaced.
