I bought this a week ago for my Uber I bought a blank one and it was green it does really well to help people out to find my car easy it does very well on the highway I could drive up to Elise 70 -75 mph without worrying it will come off I have a Nissan kick car and the magnet sick on very good I have not tried it in the rain yet but I think I will take it off if it rain does it be in the safe side I did clean off the top of the hood to take all the dust off and dull before I suck it on and every time I take it off I clean it again before I suck it back on

I was in the middle of a snow storm and lost my light when a gust of wind hit my car. I went and tried to find it and couldn’t find it. I only had this light on my vehicle for less than a week and now it’s gone. I was told to beef it up with extra heavy duty magnets after the fact. The product it’s self is a good product; the magnet isnt as strong as it should be for something that’s supposed to stay on top of your vehicle. Sadly.

Love it! Bought vinyl letters to make a GrubHub/DoorDash sign. People love it! Has helped people find me before I even find them. Also, love it for when I’m driving in dark streets, mainly in [very] affluent areas, and I can’t find a customer’s house number, so I’m driving slowly back and forth down the same street…I no longer look “suspicious” like I’m about to break into someone’s home or something sinister. I’ve had people approach me and help me find the house that I’m looking for since the light helps them know why I’m there. Or when I park in someone’s assigned parking spot to quickly deliver an order, if the owner of that spot happens to get there before I get back they are usually pretty cool about me being their temporarily and not trying to tow my car since the sign lets them know that I wont be there for long.

Update: left it on the car while I was sick. Forgot about it. Went to take it of. The magnet was stuck to the car. The bottom of the sign ended up breaking and a large section of the magnet is still stuck to my car.
Its a little smaller than I was hoping. Just at 13″ on the flat face.
Biggest thing I don’t like. It’s tapered to one side. The unit is made to face one way.
Plus side. At 100 over a 5 mile distance on a stormy high wind day of open road. It stayed stuck in place. Not even a wiggle.

I used a cricut with permanent vinyl to make my Uber light. So happy with the way it turned out. It’s bright enough to be visible but not obnoxious. Passengers have no trouble finding my van. The cord runs through my sunroof without an issue. I plan on modding this with a wire connector to make it easier to take on and off without having to run the wires every time. I don’t keep in on my roof 24/7. I drove up to 70 mph in light rain, no problems. There was a little vibrating sound but I think it was from the cable. The magnet has a solid connection on a clean, flat surface. I will wipe it down before and after each use. My only complaint is that it is meant to be used facing forward only. I would have liked it to be symmetrical so it could attach sideways on the middle of the roof. I’m worried it may have an impact on my mpg, but it’s hard to tell.
