This is a kit for 2000s Tacomas. Will not fit Tundras. Check picture above for what 2000s Tundra cylinder looks like.

Unfortunately, travel and work kept me from attempting the replacement until this past weekend. Luckily I started with the ignition. Not compatible at all. It’s way too short. Wasted money. 👎🏽 I don’t even know how to resell it because I don’t know what it’s compatible with.

So first of all, this was the exact one that was supposed to fit in my truck when I got it we installed it and it didn’t really work like it was supposed to you just kinda had to shove it in there and just hope for the best I couldn’t wait any longer and I needed a ride ASAP This person and they still fix it

When I saw the great price for this complete set of ignition and door locks that would fit my ’02 Tundra, I thought it was too good to be true. Unfortunately, it was not true! This set must only be good for Tacoma…. After I got my own locks removed from the Tundra, I could see that these clearly were not the right ones.
I do a lot of mechanical and technical work, and my impression in that this lock/set is well-constructed and very functional. They seem to be a bargain for the money — if they fit your Tacoma — And I so-wanted these to work for me.
After doing some extensive internet reading, I learned the following:
– You will not find any bundle price like this (price) for the 2 door locks + 1 ignition lock for the 2000-2006 Tundra.
– There are lots of sellers for just the (correct, long-shaft) 1st gen Tundra ignition cylinder set (no door locks). The ignition sets are priced from amazingly low, up to stealership prices.
– I thought I could then just buy the 3 components individually (aftermarket), but found that NOBODY sells aftermarket door lock sets for 1st generation Tundra. They don’t exist. Dealer price is around seventy buck each of the L & R door locks. However, while retail for the Toyota ignition cylinder is astronomical, several Toyota overstock parts suppliers sell it for around ninety bucks — which is competive with some of the higher-end aftermarket 1st gen Tundra ignition cylinder sets.
– There are lots of listings for such door + ignition cylinder bundles (i.e. same key for all) on ee bay for about 10x the price of this set — Generally Toyota branded OEM. This may be worth it to you. That way you don’t need to re-key your door lock cylinders to match the ignition key (about a hundred bucks).
In my case, my ignition cylinder is destroyed (any key or screwdriver would turn the ignition), and I have no key at all for the doors –> The door lock cylinders themselves are mechanically sound. Therefore what I’ve chosen to do is a buy just the new OEM ignition cylinder set (available on Amazon and other sites), and then will re-key my L&R door lock cylinders to match the ignition key. I’m handy, so I’m going to try the re-key myself, which looks straightforward on YouTube videos using replacement Toyota cylinder reeds and a file.
I’ll update if the outcome pans out different than the plan above.

I was getting annoyed by my old truck as both the door lock has worn out making almost impossible to lock/unlock the doors with key. This set fixed it. I’m happy.

Good quality product. Took about an hour to replace the door locks and ignition switch. Not hard, just time consuming. Allowed me to replace the locks and not have to get a locksmith to come out and rekey anything.
