This charges my Android based OnePlus 11 5g at 10-15w. I’m using a case with a magsafe magnet and an aftermarket wireless charging USB-C adapter that slides in the case. The whole setup worked much better than I expected and the magnets are very strong. I don’t have this mounted in my car, but on mount on my desk in my home office.
The magnets positively engage my phone from about half an inch away and will lift my phone off the surface to connect. It also handles some pretty intense shaking (see video). I’d imagine it would hold up well in just about any normal on-road scenario. I’d even wager it would hold reasonably well off-road depending on what you were doing and how heavy your phone is.
The charger also charges my Ulefone and Samsung phones, but I don’t have any magnet rings for them so it needs to be placed facing up to get them to charge. I’m getting add-on magnet rings for my phones and will see if this works out with them.

This product works well and is easy to setup. Just put your phone there and bam it’s charging. Magnets are strong enough to hold my phone while driving and charges at the same time.
The downside is the look. I like that it clips to the vent but they could’ve done something like other MagSafe vent mounts to make it look better instead of seeing the eyesore design they have when your phone is not attached to it.

I’m 100% against sticking these mounts in your vents.. especially as phones get larger and have more mass.
I restore cars, and I know that there is an extremely thin rod of plastic that inserts into the end of each vent louver.
It doesn’t take much to break them. I have to repair them on almost every car I work on.
I instead prefer to mount these to some sort of stick-on mount, such as a cable tie holder, or a ball socket.
These chargers are Excellent! I repeat EXCELLENT!
I’ve seemed to kill about 3 or 4 Mag-Safe chargers in the past year… Not apple ones, as they’re too expensive… I mean the apple clones.. You can’t tell the difference between the Apple, and the 3rd party ones, and they all seem to go wonky after a while.
This style, with the big visible coil in the front, and the extremely grippy magnets, not only charge a bit faster than The Mag-safe chargers, but they seem to last Way longer.
They’re a bit chunkier, but I believe that is why they perform so well… They’ll hold an iPhone 15 in place during your drive, and they charge really fast! They’re compatible with any Magnetic fast charging compatible device… Air Pods, iPhones, Samsung, Nothing, etc…..
These are a great bargain. Don’t believe anyone if they tell you that anything other than an Apple or Samsung charger is bad for the phone. Those are usually people with an alternative to sell you.
These work extremely well, They’re fast, and they have a removable usb-c cord, as well as a ball socket on the back that is compatible with pretty much every other ball socket.
The only thing I had to ding them on, was the fact that they mount in a vent. Find another place to mount it, and you’ll be thrilled with how well it charges!

The magnetic hold on this charger is great, and the surface is grippy to improve the hold. My phone’s charge rate was good when paired with a good power source. I am not the biggest fan of the clip as it relies on friction to attach to a vent. I prefer the screw-down style that gives a more firm hold. The other caveat is that there is an RGB light that is always cycling colors. If a device is not on the charger then this light will always be visible. At some angles, I feel like I’m looking directly at the LED light. There does not appear to be any way to disable this light, but if you always have your device on it while in the car then it will not be a problem. I do like the look of the exposed copper wire. Overall, I like this charger even if I have to unplug it to disable the RGB light.

This is my very first MagSafe accessory, and I have to say there’s no going back. Luckily, I already had a MagSafe compatible case for my phone so once I received this charger, I hooked it to my cars vent and way I went. This mount was very sturdy and I love how easy it is to connect and remove your phone from the mount. It does have an LED light in the middle that let you know when it is powered. For me I have two cars and in one car the LED light never goes out which tells me that that cigarette lighter outlet is powered even after the ignition is turned off. not sure how much of a draw on my car battery that would be, but I was just testing in that car (Ford fusion) and the mount will ultimately be used in a Honda Odyssey, which does turn off the charging with the ignition so that won’t be a problem . I would definitely recommend this if you’re looking for wireless MagSafe charging.

Simply put, these car mounts that use a spring to clamp onto the vent just don’t hold that well, they end up slipping and worse case; falling off. The magnet and charging capabilities work great, my phone charges quickly and sticks to the magnet just fine. When I go to take my phone off the magnet, the mount itself slips a little, hence the problem. Other mounts that use a screw mechanism are better and that is what I would look for.
One positive for this spring-based clip mount is that it is a little more portable so might throw in my laptop bag/suitcase for using in rentals

This is a great working MagSafe holder. Its suctions very well which is the most important thing. It unfortunately doesn’t fit on our mini which I drive a lot but it does fit in out VW Atlas. The clips holding in the charger a a little bulky so you need bigger vents.
When plugged in you see it lit up which is very hand and it chargers at a reasonable speed. They’ve come a long way from the original.
All in all a good version of the many different types of these chargers. Its very easy to move around in the car from vent to vent depending on who’s driving and reasonably priced.
