Update: from 2 stars to 4. customer service contacted me very quickly after the review offering a refund, replacement, alternate product, or even a gift card. The product did come with a second adhesive so I painstakingly removed the old adhesive and replaced it with the one provided. I repeated the process of cleaning my dash and applying the product. I waited 24hours again to be sure. This time no issues with the product sticking to the dash. Maybe the first adhesive was defective. I’ve had the product on for a week now. The swivel that I love unfortunately also loves to move with some bumps in the road but I can live with it. Also the magnetic is quite strong. I’m not if it’s my case or the holder itself but it’s holding to the point of having to pry my phone off the holder. Other than that product is working like it should now that I’ve been able to get it to stick. Also, great job from customer service.
Original: I cleaned my dashboard. Let it dry. Applied the adhesive as directed and waited 24 hours (longer than the suggested wait time) and the adhesive pulled off immediately from my dash. Not even any sticky residue left behind. I like the swivel/maneuverability and style but it’s all useless if it won’t stick where I need it to.

Easy installation, feels heavy duty.
360 degree rotation and many options for mounting.
Highly recommend following installation instructions, I installed it and pressed down, waited the 12Hrs to use it and haven’t had a problem with it.
It’s sleek and seamless compared to past car mounts I’ve had, I think this is the best one I’ve had so far.
I think it definitely is a good price for what has been a great quality product. I’d buy for all our vehicles if my husband wasn’t such a purist when it comes to our cars.

I’ve been using the JOYROOM MagSafe Car Mount for a few weeks now, and it has mostly exceeded my expectations. The all-metal construction feels sturdy and durable, and the 360° rotating base allows for easy adjustment to achieve the perfect viewing angle. The magnet is strong, holding my iPhone securely even on bumpy roads. Installation was straightforward, and the adhesive has held up well so far. However, I did notice that using a thicker phone case can weaken the magnetic hold slightly, so it’s best paired with a MagSafe-compatible case. Overall, a solid product that delivers on its promises.

Being black, this holder blends in well with my car interior. It appears to be metalic (although I can’t swear to that) and feels very rugged in your hand. The hinges are very tight. It swivels from the very bottom just above the adhesive so you won’t see that until it is mounted.
My first attempt to mount mine failed. I contacted the seller who advised to add heat to make the adhesive stickier. I parked the car out in the sun with the mount upside down on the dash. That combination of heat to the dash and holder did the trick.
My phone case has magsafe technology so it clings to the holder very firmly.
I highly recommend this device.

This would be perfect but the adhesive on the part that sticks to the phone is NOT sticky enough and keeps coming off of my phone every time I take it off the magnet. I cleaned my phone properly and dried it off before applying it and everything and it just sticks to the magnet and disconnects from my phone. I might resort to super gluing it it my phone.

This product is absolute trash. I know that it’s winter time and that things don’t adhere when it’s super cold so I made sure that my car was super warm and I did it when I was pulling in from a day at work and so that certainly was not an issue. I followed every direction step-by-step, and it’s still would not stick, no matter what I tried. If it was for mere decoration, which would obviously be silly, but that would work fine. But the second you barely touch the thing. It falls right off. I will say when sticking my phone to the magnet that the magnet is very strong. I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max, which is a pretty heavy device and it certainly would’ve held it, if it had worked at all. I certainly would not recommend this purchase.
