Replaced the sensor, cleared the code and MAX A/C working as it should. Fair price and quick shipping make this a good deal. If your recirculation button is flashing, buy this sensor to fix it.

Bought this part to fix a non functioning air recirculation for the HVAC on a 2013 Dodge Charger. Installed the humidity sensor and it worked for about a month. Totally disappointed for what is supposed to be a genuine Chrysler part. Total waste of money.

This little sensor is all that’s needed to get your Dodge AC working well again! The symptoms are no recirculating control and max air flow. The system doesn’t blow as cold as it did because this sensor disables the cabin air recirculating function. Easy to replace. Takes just a few minutes and your back to a fully functioning AC system. The dealer charges $600 for this easy repair!

My wife’s 2013 Chrysler 300C started having AC issues, mainly the recirculation feature/button would not work and in turn that kept the Max AC feature from also working. Living in Texas, you really need that Max AC! Took it to a mechanic who could not fully diagnose the problem but initial estimates were $650 – they basically said they could not guarantee that it would work afterwards, suggested that we take it to a dealer ($$). Anyway, after searching on the magic google machine I found that this part can cause these type of issues (thanks Chrysler engineering for over-complicating the recirculation air feature). I bought this part for around $50 and was able to install it fairly quickly by myself and that took care of all of car’s AC issues! Working great!

I own a 2011 Chrysler 300 and suddenly the AC recirculation option stopped working with no indicating light. As I do with most vehicle repairs and my DIY philosophy, I went directly to the internet instead of the dealership. Read many comments similar to mine regarding the AC recirculation option that stopped working in Chrysler models. Figured this was my issue and I ordered the “Genuine Chrysler 55111389AF Electrical Humidity Sensor.” So happened Youtube had a video that shows how remove the old and install the new sensor. Simple fix.

I was driving the 2012 Charger R/T since 2013. Two dealers were unable to diagnose or fix the issue. I bought the BlueDriver a couple of years ago and the issue with the humidity sensor was detected. The recirculation did not work from the day one, it was blinking and not turning on. This product resolved the issue, however, I do not trust FCA, their brand cars, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat and Jeep.
Never buy FCA cars, lease them, if you should.

Im a mechanic who loves chrysler , and i know how chrysler is ,planned obsolescence…. no way these things aren’t programmed to burn @ 100,005 miles lol …… if your having recirculating issues , this may be it right here …. and yes this is Genuine OEM

Recirc button would blink when pressed and not engage. This sensor fixed it and install was under 5 mins. Used on a 2012 Chrysler 300.

My AC’s circulation button was not activating and it’s very essential for me as I live in a desert. For sure the in the long run – programming will be vital after replacing the sensor, but for a quick fix, till you have money to pay the Chrysler / Dodge dealer to re-program the replacement of the sensor, it works quite well!

My recirc button stopped working on my 2012 Chrysler 300. Would blink but not stay on. Went on YouTube and saw some videos about replacing this humidity sensor on the windshield. For $50, I thought I’d give it a dry. R&R was easy, and in just a few minutes my recirc button is working again! Now the wife won’t complain when we get stuck behind a stinky diesel truck!
