This charger is identical to one marketed under the name Jkoailiwi. Despite being explicitly labeled as “a car magnetic charger,” it’s basically useless for either of our two cars, an ancient Mazda Protege and a newish Hyundai Tucson. The only place in the Protege this device would stick to was the glass on the gauges, back behind the steering wheel, which wasn’t an option. There’s a tiny slice of real estate in the Tucson in the lower right corner of the dashboard navigation system where the thing would barely adhere, and while it interfered with the passenger side temperature lever I gave it a try anyway. It sort of worked, though the vacuum absorption motor kept whirring at odd times, which I found not just annoying but a driving distraction. I left the charger attached overnight. Wen I got back in the car the next morning it was lying on the console.
(And yes, it will adhere to a windshield or rear-view mirror, if you don’t mind losing some visibility–and it’s not too awkward to run two (2) cables from your ports to the device’s USB-C ports. And yes, it comes with a stick-on patch that’s apparently intended to give your plastic dash a flat, smooth place to stick this to. Didn’t work for me.)
As for potential alternative, non-car locations, I’ve searched in vain for someplace where I could put this device to use. Does it stick to my kitchen cupboard doors? Yes. Is it possible to open the cupboard while the charger’s tethered to the wall by a cable? No. Does it adhere to a refrigerator? Yes. Is there any way I can place the charger so that I could access my phone without a super-long USB cable strung around the fridge to the outlet behind the electric range:? No.
I will say that the device does adhere well to windows and refrigerators. And the magnet is strong enough to hold a mag-safe phone with a case. Bottom line: Maybe this will work for you. And maybe, if you do find a spot for it in your car, you won’t mind the random, intermittent whirring of the absorption motor. But definitely check your dashboard before you buy.

This will be the first iPhone holder that I would take with me all the time! The few main reasons for that is the ease of use (easy to put on surface and take off the surface), functionality (ability to charge my phone-when plugged in wity the provided USB cord while holding it with a good grip) and small foot print ( can easily fit in my cargo pants pocket when travelling- even on a plane!). The nice design allows the top (magsafe) portion of the to be rotated and tilted all the way around, so you’ll almost always have a good viewing angle of your phone screen! The materials used is a combination of plastic and metal, which gives it durability with continuous use and moving it around is not a problem.
I really don’t have anything bad to say about his product, but one wish of one feature that could have been better for me. That’s the “angle of tilt” of the top (Magsafe) portion, which could have been more than what it currently allows. However looking at the design, they have a reason to limit it due to different size of phones out there that could be put on this mount.
The price of this phone mount/charger is a bit more than the other similar product here, but not terribly higher. With me being able to take this almost anywhere and have a good reliable mount, it is still a fair deal.
