Checkvalve … very handy for old fuel injection systems 🙂 Thats what I used this for, and it is holding up quite well. the aluminum feels very…..recycled.. So I did not wrench this thing down too tight. It seems to hold up. It helps keep pressure in the fuel rail, which is what I was looking for (too much drainback previously).

This is Not the design that is shown on the video, it has a cutout of the rubber and has a rubber flap instead of the spring and the rubber sliding open and close, poor quality and design, does not hold pressure, do NOT BUY!!

This pretty much worked as I hoped it would, it will hold ~60 psi for about half a day, which is more than long enough for me as I use it for a fuel system. Haven’t had any problems, as I buy evil energy products a lot

I didn’t put it to the test yet. I tried blowing air through both sides and noticed it allows airflow in both directions. Not sure if that changes once fuel is running through it, but I’ll find out once my fuel system is fully set up. Fluid and air are not the same and im not a fluid dynamics engineer so I couldn’t tell you. I’m going to assume it works until proven otherwise and if it doesn’t, ill come back and update this review.
Evil Energy as a brand on the one hand has a good reputation. I’ve used other AN fittings from them without issues. Hopefully, this performs as expected but I wont know for sure until I get everything installed and running. Be sure to do your research and honestly ask yourself if this is necessary. For my particular application, I don’t understand why it flowing backwards would harm anything. Especially since I have a return too.

No issues so far. Looks good and assembled fine. I am running 50% gas and 50% ethanol. Time will tell if it holds up.

I plan on using this as a PCV replacement along with an oil catch can on my Mazdaspeed 6. I was concerned as the video shows that the spring has to compress in other to release pressure. In my my case, it’s pressurized air coming from the crank case portion of the engine. However, the actual design is different from what the video shows. The spring doesn’t move at all. It’s just a small flap that opens and shuts with super low pressure. The spring just holds down the rubberizied piece, and the flap is in the middle.
