Worked like a champ and a lot cheaper than the auto stores around town. I think this is my 4th window regulator to replace and have got it down to about an hour of work. Pretty easy for slightly mechanically inclined individuals.
I woudl recommend buying some of these little plastic washer/grommet for holding the actual window onto this regulator. They always break when swapping and it wont go back on right without them. Sorry i can remember what they are called but they basically protect the window from the screw that holds the window to the flat metal part of the regulator.

Bought for 2002 Mitsubishi Galant DE, exact fit no issues. The 3 bolts holding the motor in place were a but different from oem but everything you need is included.

Great product! New. If your window is stuck down do what you can to bring it up and use painters tape or scotch tape to tape window up, over the top. Tape the inside and out. So it won’t slide down. Use a generous amount of tape.

One day I heard a loud snap inside my Rear Passenger door and the window loosely started collapsing downwards.
I took the door panel off and sure enough the cable that connects to the regulator snapped.
I have a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant GTZ and the installation was easier than the disassembly itself. I only looked up on YouTube for tips on installing this window regulator on a Mitsubishi and got a General Idea.
The motor sounds smooth, the window slides up and down reliably and I have no complaints whatsoever!

Cancelled my appointment for free estimate after pulling my door trim ads seeing the cable of track. Didn’t ever get an estimate over phone to replace with my own part so I did it myself.
Instructions are generic. Following the advice of one review here, I got the painter’s tape to hold window fully closed. I had to run the motor/regulator up, start one retaining bolt at bottom of window, then let it down slightly to start the other bolt on left (access was blocked by the cable guide on that side). After window was secure I let it down slightly more to align the retaining bolts and nuts. I left them slightly loose to check function for good alignment. Tightened.
Some pointers I learned along the way that could have saved me some time: my old motor/regulator was retained by bolts but the 3 near motor of new replacement part came with nuts (no included washers!) to retain but my were fastened hard to the original bolts. I needed new washers and my weather liner was loose due to old RTV Silicone getting old, crusty and chipping away. I could have saved my some trips had I had the painter’s tape, zinc plated washer assortment and black RTV Silicone sealant to reseal the liner.
One last time saver suggestion. The window switch had to be connected to align window and placement for install. Rather than haphazardly placing door trim beside door to run the motor up and down, I discovered the switch can easily be removed by pinching 2 small retaining clips inward near bottom of switch hub in its housing. The switch can easily be removed completely for replacement or for operating motor for alignment of this assembly to door and glass.
I didn’t need any extra clips or hardware other than mentioned. Mitsubishi had a precarious plastic clip that sort of supports the cable and snaps into a slot inside door. Not sure if had anything to do with failure if original part but I almost suspect that cable guide clip spread apart and allowed the cable end at top to fly apart. I feel the other original motor/regulator assemblies are on borrowed time. They may fly apart at any time with this cheap clip separating if my theory is correct. Dorman may have designed a better assembly. The instructions made no mention of re-using this suspected worn part so I didn’t use it nor seek a replacement. A durable metal clip would have lasted longer, IMO.
I will see how long the others last but suspect I’ll be replacing them too along with the needed washers and black RTV Silicone.
