Very effective at hydrating leather. It does darken the leather somewhat when you’re dealing with very dehydrated leather, but my understanding is that this is to be expected with most conditioners. Try to use it on higher end leathers which come pre conditioned, or use with the expectation that it may darken the leather slightly.

Decent conditioner that does the job. I give it 4 Stars, because I think Saddle Soap works better, but this stuff works well. The secret is to use a sock or a soft rag to work the conditioner into the leather. Wait at least an hour to polish or wear.

Quality conditioner- It helped revive the dry and cracked leather on my shoes and purse. There was slight darkening in the beginning, but that’s usual with any conditioner I’ve used. The color returned to its original state after a couple uses. Overall highly recommend this product.

Not the best, I had a piece of leather without any treatment that I applied cobbler’s choice to vs. obenauf’s. Then I let a few drops of water sit on top of the treated areas for an hour. The obenauf’s had better water resistance. Also I was shipped the cobbler’s choice with the can leaking because the cap was loose.

FABULOUS stuff!! I collect vintage 40s cowboy boots. This stuff soaks in, with zero residue or film. It has no scent whatsoever, and I don’t even have to wash my hands afterwards; it soaks into my skin. Nourishes the leather and, because it’s all natural, I don’t have to worry about it ruining my boots. Showed it to my cobbler, and he is going to see about doing a bulk order. It’s that good.

This leather care product is great, very versatile. It’s the best compromise i’ve found. It’s nourrishes the leather really well without getting that sticky feeling you get with beewax based product. It’s protects well against water, leather gets real nice and soft with a light shine.

I used this product on a 4 year old pair of brown leather dress shoes. they were getting worn and had some water stain / damage. The leather sucked up this conditioner and immediately became rejuvenated and a more uniform color. I will say that the color of the leather did darken a few shades after application. It did not bother me, but be aware. I believe it adds a richness to both color and feel to the leather. I will see how it protects and lasts over the next couple weeks. I would suggest this to bring your old leather back to life!
