I always use clean clear to wash my car microfibers and wash mitts. This is super high-quality concentrated product that is really easy to use and makes your towels clean. And you can wash your towels with piece of mind your car will me all shiny and scratch free. You don’t have to sit around scrubbing your towels. This makes wax and polishes fall right off. into cleaning these just use warm water and let them air dry. They dry pretty quickly like an hour or two.

I bought a 24 pack of the yellow Chemical Guys microfiber towels on sale around Black Friday and over the following six weeks I used half of them to clean my car. Being that I love these towels and even on sale they are rather expensive, I wanted to make sure I took good care of them in the wash. I decided to give this product a shot even though at $10 for 16 ounces it’s not cheap. I am sooo glad I did!! Out of twelve towels, eleven of them came out perfectly clean and extremely fluffy. One towel had a very small stain on it that still remained but was otherwise perfect. I must note that I only used these towels to waterless wash and dry the car with Aero Wash & Wax All and Rain-X glass cleaner, sometimes while the car was wet and sometimes not. The last two towels I used while the car was 2/3rds covered in salt and dirt!! I did not use the towels on the wheels or tires which likely would have marked them much more severely, and if you are using nice towels on your car I recommend you avoid using them on these places as well!
Immediately after this load I washed a batch of older, thinner, cheaper towels that were already stained. I did not have high hopes for these and while they were “clean” after the wash, the stains remained. I think it is safe to assume that if your towels are stained after a previous wash they will remain so even after using this product. But if your towels were pristine just before use, were not used on brake dust or grease, and you wash them with this product, they will likely again be so after the wash based on my experience. This product could do just as well removing grease and brake dust from the towels, but as of now I personally do not know if that is true. In any case I am very pleased with the performance of this detergent and will be buying the gallon size next time, which is a much better value!!

I am following the labels instructions which say wash on hot and tumble dry low. I wanted to stop using paper towels so much and am reusing micro fiber towels with this washing soap. Very little soap is required and the towels come out of the dryer looking, feeling, and smelling new. Granted they are not filthy or extremely dirty. I clean the stove, counter top, and miscellaneous around the house cleaning usually with water and sometimes bleach. For my use this soap is a very cost effective way to reuse microfiber towels many times. I did do a load with car cleaning chemical remains on them and same results. Come out looking new and super clean. Good product!

I had a set of good-quality microfiber dishcloths and towels that were past their prime. Over the years, they started to trap grease and develop a smell. No amount of washing helped. I was ready to throw them away but thought I’d give this product a try first. I soaked them in a 2-gallon bucket of HOT tap water along with 2 oz. of this cleaner for about 20 minutes. Then I dumped the bucket contents into the sink, and added more hot water. I hand-agitated them for a minute or so, wrung them out a bit, and put them through the washing machine and dryer cycles. They actually came out pretty good, and the greasy feel and smell is gone! I guess I’m going to be able to use them for a while longer after all! I took a picture of the water in the sink — keep in mind that all the dishcloths were laundered before I did this. So the water shows how much residue was still trapped in them. (You can’t even see the sink plug.) I am sold on this product — it is definitely worth using!

I was in the market to look for some microfiber wash since using regular detergent appears to make my towels rougher and not as soft anymore after a few washes. This is when I discovered this Chemical Guys microfiber wash. I am almost done with the bottle after almost a whole year so I’m looking to buy more. I might buy the gallon one this time so I won’t have to keep buying each year.
Appearance:
It is in a bottle kind of shaped like a water bottle but much sturdier. Even though it is a cleaning detergent the bottle looks nothing like a detergent bottle. I have uploaded a picture to show what it looks like. The color of the liquid is orange. It is quite orange when you use it which I think is actually a pro because you’ll be able to see where the detergent hits when putting it on dirty microfiber towels. I was actually afraid the orange color was going to stain my towels but thankfully it didn’t.
Scent:
The scent wasn’t too harsh or overpowering which is exactly what I was looking for. I didn’t want my towels to be smelling like flowers after it was coming out of the washer. It smells like soap but the scent is not too strong. Usually after washing my towels and taking it out of the washer, you cannot really smell the scent unless you get real close to the towel. I don’t think a lot of people smell it that closely anyways.
Efficiency:
The most important part of this product is of course how well it washes the microfiber towels. I usually throw in 4 cap full of this product with around 10 microfiber towels after washing my car. I tried to product with and without soaking. Without soaking it, I sometimes still see some dirt on my microfiber towels so I started to soak it. I usually soak for 30 minutes before letting it cycle the wash. I would say 99% of the stains are moved so I’m happy with the results. What made this wash great is the fact that it actually makes the towel seem like new and fluffy. It doesn’t damage the towels like regular detergent does. Overall, I think this product does a great job washing microfiber towels and I would recommend.
