Since I only drive my SUV on weekends, this little charger has already proven useful in just the few days I’ve had it. After sitting unused for five days, I hooked it up and was surprised how quickly it brought my battery back to full charge – the automatic shutoff kicked in right when it should have. The compact size is perfect for tossing in my trunk, and I like that I don’t need to fiddle with voltage settings. While it’s too soon to judge long-term reliability, the first few charges have worked exactly as promised. For occasional drivers who want to avoid surprise dead batteries, this seems like a smart backup option to keep handy.

I got this specifically for LiFeP04 12V lithium batteries. When I attached it to a battery it correctly determined that it was a lithium battery and started charging at around 13.5V. To me this is a little low for a lithium since optimum charging voltage is 14.0-14.6V. Once the battery was charged it stayed charging at the 13.5 which is okay as a maintenance charge on a lithium. I have not tried on a lead acid or AGM so can’t comment on those. In summary I think this is an okay, low powered charger for LiFeP04 batteries.

I recently bought the Dght 6V/12V 3Amp battery charger, and while it works well for charging a variety of batteries. When I used it to maintain my 12V automotive battery, it kept the voltage at around 13.8V. The automatic trickle charging feature is great once the battery is fully charged, and the repair mode has worked well for a battery that had been sitting idle for a while. Overall, it’s a solid charger.

I got this for my LIFEPO4 batteries. It works as it should be. I just connect everything and turn on the power, the this battery charger automatically recognizes the type of battery and select the appropriate voltage to start charging. During charging, the charger is a little bit warm. I cannot tell if it will stop charging when the battery is fully charged, but the display shows that it is 100%. Built quality seems good and is compact in size. Recommended.

Pretty standard run of the mill charger. The repair mode didn’t fix my battery, but that’s a tall order. I’ve used other more expensive chargers in the past that had more options and were heavier, but this will get the job done for 12v or 6v charges. I like that it comes with clamps and eyelet adapters.
Instructions are pretty good, but I’m unable to find out what happens when you long press the mode button. It’s a feature, but the instructions don’t explain what it does or why its beeping.

Appears to function as it should. Easy to operate and small enough that it doesn’t take much storage space. I’m not sure what the typical price for something like this is, but under $20 seems fair when you’re dealing with something that involves electricity – especially connected to vehicles. So the fact that it functions correctly and doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg is appreciated. The body of the device is obviously made from a plastic mold and I do worry it’s not going to be very durable, but hopefully I won’t need to use it very often and will never find out.

This review is on the battery charger/maintainer from Dght. The photos show details of the charger and the included accessories after I removed it from the package and using it on my lawn mower. The listing describes the chargers different functions and the batteries it’s suitable for. I found it to be visually free of any defects or issues. I ordered this charger for maintaining the battery on my zero turn mower. You can see in the above photos that show the problem I encountered with the charger when it entered the maintenance mode. The charger went into what Is consider a desulfurization pulse repair mode which pulses the voltage between approximately 13.1 – 14.1 volts which is improper. I did not select the repair pulse mode on the charger and it was not indicated on the display. All the other battery maintainers I use enter a voltage range of anywhere between 13.0 – 13.5 volts and remain steady when they enter the maintain mode. In my opinion this is not a properly functioning battery maintainer. The charger gives an audible alert once the battery is fully charged and enters the maintenance mode, but after I waited for an hour it still remained in this pulse mode with no change in the voltage variation. The standard charging function works properly and I didn’t experience any issues with the charger. The bottom line here is the charger works good for charging but not maintaining batteries.

The Dght 6V/12V 3AMP Battery Charger is a reliable and versatile option for keeping various batteries charged and maintained. One of its best features is the float mode, which helps prevent overcharging and potential battery damage. Once the battery reaches full charge, the charger automatically shuts off, which is a great safety feature.
It also automatically detects the voltage and current needed, making it easy to use without having to worry about manual adjustments. The charger is compatible with a wide range of battery types, including those for cars, boats, motorcycles, ATVs, lawnmowers, and golf carts, adding to its versatility.
The build quality seems fairly solid, and it comes with useful accessories like wrapped clips, a DC output cable with ring connectors, and standard SAE connectors. I also appreciate the moderately long cords, which made it more convenient to work with in different setups. Including an instruction manual can be helpful, especially for beginners.
For the price, this charger offers a good value. It does exactly what it’s supposed to do, and I couldn’t ask for much more. Overall, I’m satisfied with its performance and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable and efficient battery charger.

This little battery charger is a great setup to have. It has a clear, easy to use interface with only one button to select the type of battery and away it goes. Everything is as described included lengths of cords. It is quiet and discreet and I can use this to charge vehicles outside without it hanging outside the engine bay. (We have a larger one but always have been peeved it can’t fit in the engine bay.) Since it comes with the tong grips and bolt on attachments, I can easily use this setup for more than one vehicle too. We first tested it on a small 12 volt battery and had no issues with it. I used the bolt-on setup for my motorcycle, then the tong grips for the truck battery. I highly recommend this charger as it will likely suit all your needs.
