I am constantly adding stuff to my 12V Overland system so having good cable is a must. The wire is high quality and I have no conduction issues. The included lugs are great because sometimes it can be hard to find just the right one. My only complaint is the shielding. As it is described as a ground wire I think they could have used a much better shielding. Although it’s pliable and easily routed I wish they had used a thicker coating. I made sure to wrap all this wire in loom tape to ensure nothing gets nicked or chaffed. It never hurts to have extra wire in your 12V tool box so why not pick some of this up.

I wanted a little extra “oomph” in My work van, so I purchased an inexpensive Class D 4 channel amp, and used the wire that came with it, which I believe was 10 ga. It just didn’t feel like it had all that much punch, so I started reading online, and everyone suggested that I use much bigger power cable to feed it.
I purchased this wire, and it came with all of the little ring terminals and everything to shrink it all up and make it look nice.
My amp now has all of the power it needs to drive the Kicker speakers I bought.
It’s probably not what you’d use for a competition amp installation, as it’s copper clad aluminum, but for normal every day folks like me who don’t want to spend $6 per foot for solid copper, it does the trick!
I’m pretty sure it’s silicone jacketed, so it’s really flexible and compliant, as well as heat resistant and ultra-durable, so I have no reservations about running it on the underside of the vehicle.

Running into this ground wire couldn’t have been at a better time. I’m getting my system put back into my car after sound proofing the entire frame of my Cadillac. I’m typically that guy that always has this type of stuff in an overload. So I was shocked to find I was out of ground wire. Then like so many times before the universe was listening to me & the very same night I ran into this great ground wire on the vine, Of course I put a request in for a roll. Upon arrival I first noticed how nice and thick this wire is. Thick yet still flexible enough to be installed right along or under my new sound proofing insulation. It functioned just as I would expect it to and I got plenty of wire still left to hang on my peg board for the next time its needed. Its fair price for quality wire and a decent amount too.

While this is an 8 awg cable, Aluminum conducts about 25% less current than copper, of the same size. CCA isn’t for your house or power station, it’s for CAT5 or 6 high frequency…

I bought this to connect a small amplifier on my golf cart. Easy to strip and use. Pretty much what I was hoping for considering it’s just wire.
