Overall, this is the best auto phone holder with a built in closing mechanism and wireless charger I have ever owned. The unit has a solid feel and automatically opens and closes when the car is started or turned off. I have only been using it for about a week, but it is very stable and has low vibration mounted to the windshield.
Only thing that kept me from giving it a 5 was that it would be great if there was a pivot point at the suction cup end.

I love the convenience of wireless charging in the car. Having that feature on a phone is great around the office or home, but it really shines in the car. I put my phone in the charger when I get in the car, and leave it there until I get out, and no matter how long the drive it, I know it’s charging.
As far as the basics go, this charger kit is great. My family has various sized phones and they all charge on the stand without issue. The kit came with a couple of mounting options (a suction/sticky pad and a vent hook), so you can pick what works best for you.
The main thing I like about this charger is a feature that I’ve found lacking from others I’ve had in the past: That is the ability to open the charger and remove the phone AFTER the ignition has been turned off. I don’t know what they call that feature, but to me if the charger doesn’t have that, it becomes problematic. So yes, this charger has that ability and does everything else you’d expect from a wireless charger.
Another bonus is that there are release buttons on both sides of the charger, which makes it very easy to remove your phone regardless of how you reach for it.

I’m a truck driver. I grab my phone often. I’m a gentlemen! I’m not rough with the equipment. It barely lasted two months. The unit charges. Great! But! The blue light showing the unit has power, and the arms open and close. Don’t! The arms don’t open to release the phone, nor does it close to hold the phone! It just stopped working.
Truckers! Do not buy this! Truck bounces on the road, so the phone falls to the floor!
This product is for four wheelers. NOT! Tractor trailers. I’m glad I saved my old phone mount. It’s manual open and close, but it works! Purchased December 2023.
I bought the extended warranty! Not am I glad!

So I actually own the original and this upgraded version. The original is great and still going strong and lives in my truck and when I wanted to get another for my wife’s car I got this upgraded one. It is a solid connection to the vent and charges faster than the old one. It holds the phone solidly and have never had it fall out. The only complaint I have is it is only vertical holding and can’t be landscape, but I rarely have that need but would be nice. But the ease of getting in the car, dropping the phone in there and having it grab it securely and charge it is so convenient.

I wish there was a “contact seller” button but I can’t find it. This charger holds well but I can’t seem to get it to stop opening and closing and therefore not charging. I hope the seller responds how to stop this otherwise I may have to return it.

I was pleasantly surprised at the high quality and ease of use this product had. My dash is curved and textured and still was able to stay firmly in place. The charging is consistent and unlike some others I have tilted, I did not have to wiggle my phone in it to get it to stay charging. My phone has not fallen out and feel secure in the charger. Depending on your dash components, it could seem a little large foe your space but I think with a little maneuvering it can work in almost any car. Seems to be made of quality materials. Went together quickly and easily.

I recently bought [2022 Upgrade] Wireless Car Charger Mount, SONRU 15W Wireless Fast Charging Car Phone Mount. Here is my unbiased review of the item. The bracket easily installs. However, do not try to pry it open to insert your device. It has to be connected to a power source via USB cord then you press a bottom below it and automatically open. Place/insert the device in between the arms and automatically grasps it in place. The suction cups do their job. It holds the bracket steadily, firmly and you can position it in different angles that best suit your viewing needs. The suction surface feels kind of “gooey” but it leaves no residue. I prefer to leave the plastic disc that came with it when not using the unit (see Picture). The notation describes it as fast charging but to me seems like regular charging. I did not experience a quick charge or a charge that was been transmitted to the device quickly but then again, I was using my device to make phone calls and the GPS system on the phone at the same time. The device was indeed charging wirelessly. When not using the phone or the GPS I did notice a faster increment in the charge. Overall, it seems like a solid product. It is sturdy and can be manipulated in different angles. Since it is a new item and upgrade for 2022, I cannot speak for its reliability until a couple of months down the road. I will update. Updated 12/12/2022. I Took a five-hour trip to Miami Florida using the GPS on my device. I want to mention that subjectively I think of a fast charger if it charges my device in less than 2 hours. So, after testing the Wireless Car Charger Mount, SONRU this weekend a bit further, I updated my 4 stars to a 5 since the unit delivered without a hitch.
