This is absolutely great for vlogging. Whether you’re an outdoor videographer, or indoor, however, you happen to be using this. It works really well and contour is perfectly to your body and it’s motion. If you’re jumping up and down, certainly you’re going to face a bit of a problem, and that’s mainly as jitter not so much it falling off with the magnetic release. It’s definitely something worth testing just to make sure that your day-to-day use won’t result in your phone falling to the ground. One thing you want to consider as well, if you’re doing long-term filming is that your phone may heat up, as a result you may want to take it out the case. And if you do that, you wanna make sure it does not fall. This is a problem I have commonly face, resulting in me, having to take my phone out of the case because of the heat. That’s not a problem with the harness, it’s just something you’ll want to accommodate for a long-term usage.

When I first took this phone chest strap mount out of the box, I immediately noticed its high quality. The phone holder, magnetic chest piece, and other parts all feel well-made. The magnet is very strong, so be careful when attaching your phone. A helpful tip for removing your phone: instead of yanking it off, which can be difficult, just slide it off the magnet, and it will come off easily.
Once the phone is secured with the magnet, you can be confident it won’t fall off. The phone holder is convenient too, just press the red button to make more room for your phone, and squeeze the top down to tighten it. The two blue buttons, when pressed together, let you detach the phone holder from the chest mount.
The straps are great, and I was able to adjust them so the phone stayed snug and didn’t shake much, however the video was a bit shaky when I tested it by recording myself chopping tomatoes. I can’t imagine how much shakier it would be during any fast-paced activity. You can shoot in both landscape and horizontal modes. I’ve used a few similar products, and they all cause some shakiness in the video. Just be sure to turn on the stabilization feature on your phone when recording, as this will help a little. This is one of the better sleek design I’ve come across. Overall, this is a great mobile phone chest strap mount. If you’re into POV content, this is highly recommended.

Right out of the box, I was impressed by the design and function of this harness. The whole thing seems to be constructed out of high-quality materials. The chest plate that holds the primary magnets is made from several layers stitched and bonded together. From the wear-resistant plastic on top of the magnets to the breathable fabric mesh on the chest side, it certainly appears that a lot of thought was put into this when they made it. The straps are made from a very stretchy elastic material, which also seems to be quite robust. What really impressed me with the straps though, was the high level of comfort. Even after wearing this for a while, I could hardly notice that it was even on, which is super impressive. Even with the weight of the rest of the mount and phone in place, this harness managed to distribute it evenly.
The camera or phone being used has multiple layers of securement. First, if using a phone, the included bracket clamp style mount has a spring loaded rail system that opens it up to full size with a press of the button. Once the phone is inserted, one only needs to press down on the rails, while the rubber pads to either side hold the phone ratchet tightly into place. Threaded brass tripod nuts are incorporated into both the back and the end of the bracket so the phone mount is then screwed onto the standard quarter inch tripod stud, which is on the next part of the included mount. The end socket makes it possible in conjunction with the ball joint to point the camera up at your own face for selfies and vlogging.
This next part of the mount, which I will call the ball joint, not only has that universal tripod stud for mounting things like GoPro accessories, but the ball joint, which has a nut to hold it in position, is completely adjustable for direction. This part of the mount has its own magnet, which pulls it securely into the recess on the next part of the chest mount. Once pulled into the socket, this ball joint mount actually engages clips in the next section, which is also magnetized. Even with the magnets, though, it has claws in the socket that engage slots in the connection. This is released by pressing the two blue buttons to either side simultaneously to pull the ball joint out of this chest base.
Finally, this triangular chest base, which goes between the ball joint and the harness, is what you stick onto the chest plate. Both the base and the chest harness plate are magnetized, so the attraction between the two is pretty strong. Those two parts are the only magnetics that you are technically relying on when you attach your photography or video equipment. Also, there is a tiny hole drilled into the top of the magnetic chest base, which would work very well for attaching some form of lanyard. I plan on definitely rigging up some form of just–in-case lanyard system as an emergency back up to prevent anything from being knocked off of the magnetic mount and thereby falling to the ground. I just tend to be overly cautious with expensive equipment.
All in all, this is an excellent piece of photography/videography equipment that is a perfect fit with the rest of my production gear.

This is way better than expected and I love the fact that this attaches to the harness with magnets. I have used this for both a body cam and to hold my iPhone. Both attach securely to the mount then you can attach to the harness and remove when needed quick and easy. I’ve used this with FaceTime calls with my parents to watch my toddler play at the park or on walks. I don’t have to hold the phone and it’s like they are there with us. Very well made and im in for another one if needed.

A really neat idea and it does work well and if you are using a camera phone with decent stabilization you shouldn’t have any issues. I would have loved to see a few different style of phone mounting options including in the box MAGSAFE etc… 4/5 stars!

I like the idea, but having huge strap across your chest is a bit odd. You have to be wearing the right clothes to place it inside and outside looks like dumb. It’s adjustable and has slightly less movement than a well placed magnetic holder without the straps. Also, it doesn’t work well with bodycams since it accidentally presses the buttons. It should come with several adapters for different screw mounts and/or clips.
