this item came in damaged and I told amazon but they tell me that I can’t return because its hazardous item. Umm but its not on the listing or anything so how would you know that this item is non returnable? also why would I use a hazardous item? this product is so dangerous that amazon don’t want to take it back. This product is effective at breaking down sealants and especially short term waxes. It produces a thick, rich foam that clings and lingers for a long time. It can also be used as a car wash soap, it has excellent cleaning power and lubrication!
It is heavily alkaline, so take caution and make sure you’re using gloves, eye protection and a respirator. I wouldn’t want to apply this on a windy day!
Has a citrus scent that reminds me of grapefruit. It has a thin consistency and will easily pour into a foam cannon. It will also spill quickly too, so be careful lol
My only fear with this product is that it could promote early degradation of rubber seals. I might recommend using a rubber treatment before this is applied just to be sure. In my experience powerful cleaning products aren’t friendly to rubber seals.
All in all, an effective cleaning product and works as advertised. But again! Take caution

This product came with a hand spray nozzle which (i assumed) was for direct application. Had lots of bugs on the front of my pickup squirted the front and the outside of my mirrors, then sprayed liberally with a pressure washer. Proceeded to spray the rest of the truck with water, then used standard Griot’s foam cannon and covered the whole truck. After rinsing, Viola! Damaged paint! The body painted surfaces were not harmed but the charcoal/matte finished surfaces on the front end of my pickup are wasted. The temp was 80 degrees and the wash was done in the shade. No more than 5-10 minutes on the car. Possibly a bad batch? Have sent two messages with details but no response from Griot’s. Bad service matches very bad product.

Saw a review here that claimed that the product permanently damaged the paint, but I also noticed that they potentially did not dilute the mixture prior to application. I followed the manufacturer’s instructions (10:1 dilution ratio) and had excellent results. It’s a grim reminder to always follow manufacturer’s instructions…
