I was looking for a wash mitt to wash the RV without micro scratching. This is my second one , I wanted to see if there were any issues with the first one I bought a year ago . So far this a great mitt after washing I let hang dry then refluff.
Both mitts are not shedding or falling apart like some reviews have said. Holds suds very well and removes a lot of dirt from what I can see in the bucket.

To those that say this product doesn’t last, or that it falls apart…yes, it will do that if you don’t care for it properly. Get some Woolite for handwashing, use a TINY bit of that, on the most gentile, cold cycle you possibly can. Do. Not. Use. Dryer! Turn inside out, air dry until the inner part is day, then turn right side out, finish air drying. If the inner leather starts to get hard, GENTLY stretch it until it’s soft again. Soak in lukewarm water (just water) for about 30 minutes before use.
You want to keep it at maximum softness? Get one of those pet combs, not brush, comb, that’s made of metal. Comb out the wool after it’s dry. It’s like hair. On anything. If you never brush it, it gets knotted and tangled and looks like crap and starts to break off.
If you’re not going to care for it properly, STFU. It’s nobody’s fault but yours for not taking care of it.

I had to get creative to solve a family problem. My mom has dementia and recently lost her kitty to old age. I couldn’t bear her constant looking for her missing friend. Her kitty was a total lap snuggler and would sleep in mom’s lap all day while mom petted her. I stuffed a small towel in this mitt to give it some bulk and tucked in the hand opening. That “Mitten Kitten” sits in her lap and gets all the pets it desires. The fur is REAL and soft and thick and provides comfort to my mom through this difficult time. By not doing enough research first I ended up purchasing this product, only finding out afterwards that microfiber mitts are both safer for your car’s paint and cheaper. However, this mitt has been used to wash two cars now and works as intended. The main issue I have is that the wool gets caught on certain parts of the vehicle and you don’t notice it right away, and then when you go to apply a protective coating to your paint you have to pick the wool out of random spots it got snagged. I would recommend microfiber mitts for both value and ease of use.

I have washed my cars with this about 12x now. It is still just as soft as the day I bought it. It is not showing any signs of deterioration.
I wash it on cold water cycle in the washer using liquid washing soap (Tide). I then dry it in the dryer on a no heat cycle.
I recommend this product and will buy it again.

Ok I’ve used this mitt for about 2 months and have nothing but good things to say about it. It holds a lot of soap and cuts my washing time by about a third. It’s pretty easy to clean and as long as you wet it well beforehand it fits my hand really well. Clean up is a breeze.
I do not use it on my wheels or tires, I use my synthetic one for the those because this one is a little too big.

Crazy soft and gentle on my car. The first time I used it, I didn’t run it through the washer afterward. I rinsed it and let it drip dry in the garage. Took forever, and it started looking like a drowned chicken. So I decided to toss it in the washer, using the rinse and spin cycle. It came out fluffy and looking like new. Hung it back in the garage and it dried quicker, leaving the fur nice and full. There’s a minimum amount of shedding when you wash it, but I have a dark car and didn’t notice anything on my car. I also love that it’s fluffy all around. Totally happy with this purchase.
